Not necessarily. Love languages address how you want to feel appreciated, but relationship health also requires trust, respect, aligned values, shared vision, and conflict resolution skills. Two people fluent in each other's love languages can still break up over infidelity or incompatible life goals.

What else do couples need beyond love languages?

Attachment security (feeling safe in the relationship), conflict competence (ability to resolve disagreements), values alignment (shared meaning), life-stage compatibility (kids, career, location goals), and basic respect. Love languages are the accent; these are the foundation.

Can good love language fit save a bad relationship?

No. If a relationship is fundamentally unhealthy—abusive, dishonest, or built on incompatibility—learning each other's love languages won't fix it. Love languages enhance good relationships; they don't repair broken ones.
