MBTI & Jungian Types

Introverted Intuition (Ni)

A cognitive function focused on deep pattern recognition, foresight, and convergent insight. Dominant in INTJ and INFJ types.

Introverted Intuition (Ni) is about perceiving deep patterns and arriving at singular insights. Ni users have a sense of "knowing" — they synthesize information unconsciously and arrive at conclusions that feel like epiphanies.

Ni is the dominant function for INTJ and INFJ types — the two rarest MBTI types. Ni users are visionaries who see where things are headed before others do. They think in metaphors, symbols, and long-term trajectories.

In careers, Ni-dominant people excel in strategy, research, counseling, writing, and any role requiring long-term vision. They may be perceived as mysterious or disconnected because their insights come from unconscious processing that's hard to explain step-by-step.
