How do I prevent duplicate processing if a task is retried?
Design idempotent handlers. Include a task ID in the request. Handler checks: 'Have I processed this ID?' If yes, skip. Cloud Tasks includes task name (unique) in request headers (X-CloudTasks-TaskName).
Can I schedule tasks for later execution?
Yes. Create a task with a future schedule_time. Cloud Tasks won't execute until that time. Useful for delayed actions (send email in 1 hour, process after user confirms).
What's the max payload size?
100 KB per task. For larger payloads, store in Cloud Storage, pass URL in task payload. Handler fetches from Cloud Storage.
