Once connected, you can transmit audio, video, and arbitrary data with minimal latency. The connection requires a signaling mechanism (separate from WebRTC), usually a WebSocket server, to exchange SDP offers/answers and ICE candidates. After connection is negotiated, data flows peer-to-peer.
