Heroku Legacy

Heroku Legacy refers to applications built on deprecated Heroku services: old Dyno types, Heroku PostgreSQL without modern features, custom buildpacks, and unsupported runtimes. These applications still run but are maintained in "freeze" mode—no new features, just keeping the lights on. Heroku itself is not legacy (Heroku still exists), but the infrastructure and patterns used by old apps are obsolete.
