Kaltura Video Platform

Kaltura is an open-source, modular video platform-as-a-service (VPaaS) for hosting, transcoding, protecting, and monetizing video content. You upload a video file, Kaltura transcodes it to multiple formats (H.264, VP9, AV1) and resolutions (1080p, 720p, 480p), generates adaptive streaming manifests (HLS/DASH), stores them on a global CDN, and serves them to viewers with analytics. The platform includes a video player (Kaltura Player), APIs for video management and metadata, DRM integration (Widevine, PlayReady), monetization tools (paywall, ads), and detailed analytics (view count, engagement heatmap, drop-off rates, audience demographics).
