AUTOSAR Standards

AUTOSAR (AUTomotive Open System ARchitecture) is a standardized architecture for automotive software. It defines layered architecture (Application Layer, RTE, Basic Software), software components, interfaces, and communication patterns. AUTOSAR uses XML for configuration, enabling portability across different hardware platforms and OEMs. AUTOSAR ensures safety (ISO 26262 compliance), interoperability (suppliers working together), and modularity (reusable components across models).
