Cyclone Tornado

Cyclones (also called hurricanes, typhoons) are large rotating storm systems forming over warm tropical oceans. They last days, span 100+ miles, and cause damage through wind, rain, and surge. Tornadoes are rotating columns of air (vortexes) spawned by severe thunderstorms. They're small (100-1000 feet), short-lived (minutes), but extremely violent (200+ mph winds).
