Descript Podcast Editing

Descript is a podcast and video editing platform that uses transcription to enable text-based editing. You upload audio/video, Descript transcribes it, and you edit the transcript. When you delete a word from the transcript, the corresponding audio is removed. It's a paradigm shift from traditional audio editing (timeline-based, visual waveforms) to document-based editing (edit text, audio follows). Descript also generates clips automatically, stores media in the cloud, and integrates with podcast distribution platforms (Spotify, Apple Podcasts, etc.).
