The challenge is reading the problem correctly and working accurately under time pressure, not knowing advanced formulas. It measures how you reason with numbers, not how much maths you have memorised.

What is a good numerical reasoning score?

Your raw score maps to five percentile tiers: Developing (0–20%), Average (21–40%), Above Average (41–60%), Superior (61–80%), and Exceptional (81–100%). Roles in finance, consulting, and analytics typically expect Above Average or higher. The four sub-scores are more useful than the overall band, they show whether to focus on, say, data interpretation versus ratios.

How do I improve at data interpretation questions?

Data interpretation is reading tables and charts and pulling the right figure quickly.
