What is the Communication Style Test?
Your communication style is the default way you express needs, handle disagreement, and respond when something bothers you. Communication and assertiveness research describes four recognisable patterns along a single underlying tension, how much you honour your own needs versus other people's. Assertive communicators hold both as equally valid; Passive communicators tend to put others first and stay quiet; Aggressive communicators push their own view forcefully; and Passive-Aggressive communicators feel the friction but express it sideways, through hints, sarcasm, or withdrawal rather than head-on.
