DISC Assessment
A behavioral assessment measuring four workplace styles: Dominance (direct, results-oriented), Influence (enthusiastic, collaborative), Steadiness (patient, reliable), and Conscientiousness (analytical, quality-focused).
DISC is a behavioral assessment model developed from William Marston's work (1928), widely used in corporate settings for team building, communication, and leadership development. It's used by 70%+ of Fortune 500 companies.
The four styles are: D (Dominance — direct, decisive, competitive, results-focused), I (Influence — enthusiastic, optimistic, collaborative, people-oriented), S (Steadiness — patient, reliable, team-player, change-resistant), and C (Conscientiousness — analytical, detail-oriented, quality-focused, process-driven).
Everyone has all four styles but in different proportions. Your primary and secondary styles form your DISC profile (e.g., "DI" = Dominant-Influential). DISC is less about who you are and more about how you behave in workplace settings — making it particularly useful for team communication and conflict resolution.
