Dominance (D) — DISC Style

A DISC behavioral style characterized by directness, decisiveness, and results-orientation. D-styles are competitive, blunt, and driven by challenges.

Dominance (D) is one of four DISC behavioral styles. D-style people are direct communicators who focus on results, efficiency, and winning. They make quick decisions, take charge in groups, and aren't afraid of confrontation.

Strengths: decisive, confident, results-driven, willing to take risks. Weaknesses: impatient, insensitive, overly competitive, poor listener. Under stress, D-styles become aggressive and dictatorial.

D-styles thrive in leadership, sales, entrepreneurship, and high-pressure environments. They make up ~10% of the population.
