Steadiness (S) — DISC Style

A DISC behavioral style characterized by patience, reliability, and team orientation. S-styles are supportive, calm, and resistant to change.

Steadiness (S) is one of four DISC behavioral styles. S-style people are patient, supportive team players who value stability, consistency, and harmony. They're the backbone of most teams.

Strengths: reliable, patient, supportive, great listener, consistent. Weaknesses: resistant to change, conflict-avoidant, difficulty saying no, passive. Under stress, S-styles withdraw and become resentful.

S-styles thrive in customer service, nursing, administration, teaching, HR, and support roles. They make up ~30-35% of the population — the most common style.
