What is the HEXACO test?

The HEXACO model is a six-factor framework of personality that builds on the Big Five by adding a sixth dimension, Honesty-Humility. Developed from lexical studies across many languages, it captures a trait the Big Five misses: how sincere, fair, modest, and unwilling to exploit others a person is. The six HEXACO factors are: Honesty-Humility (sincerity, fairness, modesty, low greed), Emotionality (anxiety, sentimentality, need for emotional support), Extraversion (sociability, liveliness, social confidence), Agreeableness (patience, tolerance, forgiveness), Conscientiousness (organization, diligence, prudence), and Openness to Experience (curiosity, creativity, unconventionality).
