Sync UK and international school rosters through Wonde
Wonde connects to school MIS platforms across the UK and dozens of other countries. JobCannon's connector is built against Wonde's documented API, gated behind a single vendor bearer token — it goes live once that application has been sent to Wonde and approved.
In brief
Wonde sits between a school's management information system (MIS) and third-party apps like JobCannon: a school approves access once, and Wonde brokers the roster data going forward. JobCannon's connector is built against Wonde's own documented REST API — one vendor-level bearer token, school-by-school authorization that lands asynchronously as a webhook once a school approves, and a regional API host resolved per school rather than assumed. None of this has been tested against a live Wonde account yet: the vendor application has been drafted but, per standing policy, not sent until there is an explicit go-ahead.
What the Wonde integration enables
Built against Wonde's real API shape
Endpoints, the school-approval webhook flow, and the per-region API host were all confirmed from Wonde's own developer docs and reference client, not guessed at.
One vendor token, many schools
A single JobCannon-level Wonde credential covers every school that approves access — there is no separate credential to issue per school.
Per-school approval, not a blanket switch
Each school approves JobCannon's access individually through Wonde's own request-access flow; nothing pulls a school's roster before that school has said yes.
How it works
From Wonde admin to first scored student.
- 1
Application sent to Wonde
JobCannon applies for a Wonde developer account and vendor bearer token — the one step this connector cannot complete on its own.
- 2
A school approves access
Wonde's own team contacts the school; approval arrives asynchronously, sometimes with a school-specific access token layered on top of the vendor token.
- 3
Rosters sync per approved school
Once approved, JobCannon pulls that school's classes, students and staff through Wonde's standard endpoints.
Wonde career-readiness deep-dives
Each landing covers how the test flows through Wonde, how long a student spends on it, and what a counselor sees back — no pass/fail bands, no hiring framing.

4 career-readiness assessments available via Wonde
Same catalog across every JobCannon K-12 integration — career-interest and self-awareness instruments, not clinical or esoteric tests.
Why schools and districts pick JobCannon for Wonde
- 4 career-readiness assessments built for a school setting — RIASEC, Career Match (Mini RIASEC), Big Five and EQ — behind the same result envelope used everywhere else on JobCannon, not a separate schools-only product with its own scoring.
- Multi-tenant org isolation by design — each district's students are isolated at the row level (RLS), the same mechanism that separates every JobCannon B2B customer from every other.
- Sign-in and rostering are kept honestly separate: a connector that only authenticates identity is never described as importing class rosters, and a connector that syncs rosters is never described as a login method.
- EU-resident data + GDPR-ready DPA, and a documented data-minimisation posture for under-13 students rather than a parental-consent workflow — see the FERPA and COPPA guides on jobcannon.io/b2b.
SSO and rostering connectors are a platform capability, not a separate line item — no per-connector surcharge is planned on any tier. District-wide assessment licensing (priced per enrolled student for larger districts) is a separate, explicitly quoted arrangement — talk to us rather than assuming a self-serve SaaS tier price covers it.
Frequently asked
Has JobCannon actually applied to Wonde yet?+
The application is drafted but not sent — sending it is a deliberate, separate decision, not a code dependency. The connector code does not need Wonde's approval to exist; it needs it to switch on.
Does Wonde cover schools outside the UK?+
Wonde documents coverage across dozens of countries beyond the UK; JobCannon's connector resolves each school's regional API host from Wonde's own data rather than assuming a single country.
What happens before a school approves access?+
Nothing. No roster call runs for a school until Wonde reports that school has approved JobCannon's access request.
Other K-12 integrations
OneRoster
Coming soonJobCannon's OneRoster client is generic: point it at your district's own OneRoster server — ClassLink, Feide, Skolfederation, VIDIS, the Japan OneRoster profile, or an SIS that exposes a OneRoster feed directly — and it pulls courses, classes, students and enrollments over the same open standard.
Google Classroom
Coming soonA dedicated Google Cloud OAuth client — separate from JobCannon's existing Google sign-in — requests exactly two read-only Classroom scopes: course lists and student rosters. It reads roster data; it is not a login method.
Clever
Available on requestJobCannon supports Clever Instant Login (tier-1 SSO) — no separate JobCannon username or password. This is sign-in only; no roster or class-list import runs through Clever today.
