Bring the Career Match (Mini RIASEC) to your students through Wonde in 2 minutes
Career Match through Wonde is the 12-item forced-choice on-ramp to Holland's model — built for a homeroom period or advisory block rather than a full guidance-counseling session. Once your school has approved JobCannon's access in Wonde, a counselor assigns the test to any of the classes Wonde syncs from your MIS — no separate roster to build inside JobCannon. A counselor who wants the finer-grained three-letter breakdown afterward can follow up with the full RIASEC for the same class.
Validity
Career Match is JobCannon's 12-item forced-choice Mini RIASEC — a fast on-ramp to the same six-type Holland framework, not a shorter substitute for its validity evidence. Use it for a first pass inside a single class period; the full 60-item RIASEC is the instrument to reach for when a counselor needs the finer-grained three-letter code for course or pathway planning.

Assign Career Match (Mini RIASEC) to a class or cohort
Once Wonde is connected, a counselor assigns Career Match (Mini RIASEC) to a specific class or cohort rather than inviting students one by one.
- 3
Students complete the assessment
Students complete the 2-minute form on any device; a counselor sees completion status per class in real time.
- 4
Review results as a class summary
Individual results and a class-level summary land in the counselor dashboard — useful for a group debrief or one-on-one advising conversation.
Sample score envelope
Generated by the same normalizer that serves your Wonde connector, so the field names and types below are the ones you will parse. The student and the answers are a worked example; the numbers are illustrative, not a benchmark.
dimensions[].score is 0–100 within this test’s own scale. It is safe to rank students on one dimension of one test, and it is not a percentile unless metadata.score_metric says so — today only Big Five publishes percentiles, against norms whose sample size and pull date travel in the same envelope. Scores from two different tests are not comparable to each other.

RIASEC (Holland Codes)
career interest profiler
RIASEC's strongest evidence base is exactly this use case — school and career counseling, not hiring. Holland's six-type model predicts satisfaction and person-environment fit for a chosen path (Tracey & Rounds, 1993); a meta-analysis of 27 studies finds person-environment congruence correlates with tenure and satisfaction (Tranberg, Slane & Ekeberg, 1993, r ≈ .15-.20). It was never validated as, and is not used here as, a hiring or admissions screen.

Big Five (OCEAN)
self-awareness / personality profile
In a school setting, Big Five is a self-awareness and study-habits framing tool, not a predictive-performance instrument the way it is marketed to employers elsewhere on this site. Conscientiousness has the strongest published link to academic outcomes among the five traits (Poropat, 2009 meta-analysis, k=80, corrected ρ ≈ .19-.22 with GPA).

EQ (Emotional Intelligence)
SEL / emotional intelligence self-assessment
Emotional intelligence in a school context is taught as a skill, not screened as a gate — there is no pass/fail band on this page. Goleman's four-domain framework (self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship management) gives counselors a shared vocabulary for SEL (social-emotional-learning) conversations; published predictive validity for academic outcomes is modest and secondary to its use as a reflection tool.

Frequently asked
Why run Career Match instead of the full RIASEC?+
Time. Career Match is 2 minutes on 12 forced-choice items — it fits inside a homeroom or advisory block where the full 60-item RIASEC would not.
Does Career Match replace RIASEC for course/pathway planning?+
No — treat it as a first pass. It gives a directional read on the same six Holland types; for the three-letter code counselors use in finer-grained course or pathway conversations, run the full RIASEC.
Does every school on our MAT need to approve separately?+
Yes — Wonde authorization is per school, not per multi-academy trust. Each school approves JobCannon's access individually through Wonde's own request flow before its classes sync.
What does this cost the district?+
Sandbox invitations send no email and count toward no quota. There is no separate per-connector fee — SSO and rostering are a platform capability across every institutional tier. District-wide assessment licensing (priced per enrolled student for larger districts) is quoted separately; talk to us rather than assuming a self-serve tier price covers it.
