What is the Psychometric Test?
This Psychometric Test scores the ability side of a typical employer psychometric screen across 30 multiple-choice questions, split into four areas. Numerical data questions give you a small table or list of figures — daily sales, quarterly revenue, survey results — and ask you to work out a total, average, percentage or projection from it. Verbal inference questions give you a short passage and ask you to judge a statement as True, False or Cannot Say strictly on what the passage states, not on what seems reasonable. Pattern recognition questions show a number, letter or coded sequence and ask what comes next or which item breaks the rule. Error-checking questions ask you to spot the one mismatched code, price or reference number among near-identical options. Each area is scored separately, then combined into one overall band.

A full employer psychometric battery also includes a personality or work-style questionnaire, and that half has no right or wrong answers — it is not included or scored here at all; try one of the personality tests on this site for that side of the picture. This test is untimed, while most real screens run under fairly strict time pressure per section, so a comfortable score here does not tell you how you would do against a clock. It is a free practice instrument for familiarisation, not an accredited or proctored assessment, and it is not a copy of any specific employer's or vendor's proprietary test — no employer will accept this score as a substitute for their own testing, and on its own it predicts nothing about job performance.
The test takes about eight minutes to work through, with no timer forcing the pace. At the end you get an overall band — from developing to exceptional — described in plain language, plus four separate scores for numerical data, verbal inference, pattern recognition and error-checking, so you can see which area is carrying your result and which is holding it back. You see all of this without creating an account or entering an email. The result also names a concrete next step: which format to practise, and what tends to trip people up in it, whether that is treating Cannot Say as a fallback for True, or reading a data table at normal speed instead of checking it twice.
