JobCannon is psychometric assessment, not coaching itself. The platform produces data inputs — RIASEC code, Big Five profile, Career Match outputs — that ICF-credentialed and EMCC-credentialed coaches use as one signal among many in their coaching engagement. We do not replace the coaching conversation, GROW model, co-active coaching, narrative work, or any specific framework. Coaches retain full control over how to interpret and use the data with the client. The platform is a tool in the coach's kit, not a coaching methodology.
Yes. The Coach tier deployment lets the coach see results and either share via PDF email or talk through results in-session without the client logging in to a platform. Some clients want their own login to revisit their result; some prefer the coach-mediated read. The platform supports both flows on the Coach tier. The free tier requires the client to log in directly because we do not maintain a coach-mediated layer at the free tier.
The platform serves career and self-discovery coaching natively. For executive coaching, the Big Five plus EQ plus Conflict Styles plus DISC battery covers most of the personality data executive coaches use; we do not produce a Hogan-style derailer report, but we surface much of the same underlying personality data through validated free instruments. For relationship coaching, the Love Languages plus Conflict Styles plus EQ battery is core; the platform was not built for relationship-specialist use but the assessments are appropriate. For life coaching that is broader than career, the Values plus Big Five plus Burnout Risk plus EQ battery is widely used. For pure clinical-adjacent work (depression, anxiety, trauma), the platform is not appropriate — those are clinical psychologist domain, not coaching.
No direct integration. Coaches typically use practice-management software for scheduling, billing, and clinical notes; JobCannon sits alongside as the assessment platform. Workflow is: coach onboards client in their practice-management tool, sends client a JobCannon assessment link from the Coach tier dashboard, client completes, coach reads result, coach attaches PDF result to client file in the practice-management tool. Two clicks per client per intake; not significant overhead for a 12-client practice.
