Our assessments are built on peer-reviewed frameworks: Big Five (Costa & McCrae, 1992 — the gold standard in personality research), DISC (Marston, 1928), RIASEC/Holland Codes (used by O*NET and the US Department of Labor), and Goleman EQ (1995). They are self-report tools for awareness and conversation, not diagnostic tools, screening instruments, or medical devices. For hiring, we recommend using them as one data point alongside interviews and work samples — never as a sole hiring criterion.

We never share individual data with employers or third parties. All data is stored on EU-compliant infrastructure (Supabase/AWS). Employees can request data deletion at any time.

JobCannon uses the same underlying science (Big Five, DISC, Holland Codes) at zero cost. The trade-off: we don't offer facilitator-led workshops or custom reporting (yet). For most HR use cases — onboarding, team awareness, development conversations — free self-service tests deliver 80% of the value at 0% of the cost.
