District-wide career orientation
Career assessments and Career Guide for every grade, every school, every student. Aggregate dashboards roll up by school, grade, or demographic. Federal-grant-friendly procurement, FERPA-aligned, optional Spanish.
JobCannon for School Districts deploys career orientation across every middle and high school in a district under a single administrator account. Districts use the platform for ESSA career-readiness indicator reporting, Perkins V programme-quality reviews, and state-level CCRI submissions. Student-facing assessments and Career Guide are free for all educational use; the district administrator dashboard with cross-school analytics is on a paid tier ($199/mo flat for districts up to 50 schools, scoped partnership above). The platform is FERPA-aligned, COPPA-compliant for under-13 access via a parental consent flow, and GDPR-compliant. Standard rollout from contract to first district reporting cycle is six to eight weeks. White-label theming with district logo and domain available on the partnership tier, with Spanish localisation in active build.
Beyond what individual schools can do on the free tier.
Sequenced across the 7th-12th grade arc.
For a district with 10,000 high-school students
District-wide deployment is one of twelve audience landings on the JobCannon for Business hub; the cross-school analytics layer is built on the institutional dashboard, and per-school cohort tagging — the load-bearing primitive for building-level rollups — comes from cohort management.
For the regulatory layer, district administrators typically read the FERPA student-data guide for role-based access design and the COPPA compliance guide for under-13 parental-consent workflows; districts running CTE pathways pair these with the Perkins V 2026 reporting guide.
Student access stays free. The cross-school dashboard is on a flat $199/mo Business tier or scoped under a partnership for districts above 50 schools.

Per-school free access works for a single school running its own careers programme. A district-wide deployment gives the district central office one administrator account that sees every school as a separate cohort, plus aggregate metrics rolling up to the district level. You can compare completion rates across schools, see archetype distribution by grade or demographic group, and report on programme impact without exporting CSVs from twenty different schools.
The student-facing assessment and Career Guide is free for all educational use, including district-wide deployments. The district dashboard with cross-school analytics is on a paid tier (typically $199/mo flat or scoped under a partnership for districts above 50 schools). Many districts in the United States fund the dashboard through Perkins V grants, ESSA Title IV funds, or state career-readiness budgets. We can provide a quote letter that fits your procurement process.
JobCannon provides student-level Career Guide records (career match, skill gap, recommended pathways) that districts use as evidence for ESSA career-readiness indicators, Perkins V programme-quality measures, and state-level CCRI reporting. We export aggregate completion data in formats compatible with EdFacts and most state SIS systems. Reports do not contain individual psychometric answers, only outcomes.
Standard rollout is six to eight weeks. Week one is district-level setup and counsellor training. Weeks two to three are pilot at three lighthouse schools. Weeks four to six expand to all schools. Week seven is the first district reporting cycle. We provide a counsellor playbook, a parent-communication template, and recorded training sessions. Most districts pair this with Career Day, options evening, or end-of-year planning to maximise participation.
JobCannon is FERPA-aligned for school official use, COPPA-compliant for under-13 access (parental consent flow available), and GDPR-compliant for any international students. Districts sign a Data Processing Agreement covering the specific student-data fields collected (assessment answers and outcomes only — no demographics or PII unless you choose to add them). All data is stored on EU/US Supabase infrastructure with role-based access.
Yes. Districts on the partnership tier get the white-label experience: district logo, district-domain share links (careers.yourdistrict.edu redirect), district-coloured student-facing reports, and optional locale (Spanish, in active build). The student journey looks like a district tool, not a third-party platform.
JobCannon is the assessment-and-evidence layer; your SIS holds the canonical career-readiness record. Aggregate Career Guide outcomes export in formats compatible with PowerSchool, Infinite Campus, Skyward, and other major US SIS platforms — most districts ingest the CSV into their existing career-readiness or counsellor module. Direct API integration with PowerSchool and Infinite Campus is scoped on partnership engagements for districts that want bidirectional sync (student rosters down, completion-and-outcomes data up). EdFacts-aligned aggregate exports are available out of the box for districts feeding state-level career-readiness reports.
The district administrator dashboard shows cross-school rollups: completion rates by school, archetype distribution by grade or demographic group, top career matches at district scale, and CCRI indicator progression year-over-year. Building-level dashboards (one per school) show within-school cohort analytics: per-grade completion, per-counsellor caseload progression, individual student-level Career Guide records for counsellor follow-up. Role-based access ensures building counsellors see only their school's named-student records, while district administrators see aggregate cross-school metrics without building-level personally-identifying detail unless they have role-elevated access.
The district-tier rollout is designed for centralised deployment without per-school configuration burden. One district administrator account creates building cohorts (one per school) at setup; counsellors at each school are added in bulk via CSV import or SSO (Google Workspace for Education or Microsoft Entra ID/SAML on partnership tier); shareable assessment links are pre-generated per cohort so counsellors only distribute, not configure. Most 20-school districts complete administrative setup in week one, run pilot at three lighthouse schools in weeks two-three, and scale to all schools in weeks four-six. The counsellor playbook is district-uniform — no per-school customisation required.
