In brief

Greenhouse customers add JobCannon as an Assessment Partner from their integration settings. Once configured at a job stage, the recruiter clicks "Send Assessment" on a candidate — Greenhouse calls JobCannon's send_test endpoint, the candidate receives a co-branded email, completes the assessment, and the score (with full result envelope) is returned to Greenhouse via the test_status endpoint and the partner-supplied callback URL. The integration uses Basic Auth credentials provisioned per organisation, supports sandbox testing without polluting the hire pipeline, and works with any of the 22 hire-eligible tests in the JobCannon library (Big Five, DISC, EQ, integrity, cognitive ability, conflict styles, etc.).     Greenhouse admin → Configure → Dev Centre → Integrations → Assessment Partners. JobCannon issues your organisation Basic Auth credentials (sandbox first, then production).

    Pick assessments + assign to job stages

    Choose from 22 validated tests (Big Five, DISC, EQ, integrity, etc.). Drop each onto the appropriate stage in the Greenhouse pipeline.

    Recruiter sends to candidates

    On the candidate page, recruiter clicks "Send Assessment". Greenhouse calls JobCannon, JobCannon emails the candidate (co-branded with your org name).

    Candidate completes (sub-1s scoring)

    Candidate takes the assessment in their browser; scoring is computed in under a second. JobCannon stores the standardised result envelope.

    Score returned to Greenhouse

    JobCannon PATCHes the partner callback URL with status=complete + score envelope. Greenhouse displays it on the candidate scorecard and can auto-advance the application.

JobCannon completed the Assessment Partner application in 2026-05; directory listing follows Greenhouse's technical review of our endpoints (typically 2-4 weeks after submission). Customers can be onboarded immediately via direct credential provisioning while the listing is in review.

Which assessments can I send from Greenhouse?+

The 22 hire-eligible assessments in JobCannon's B2B catalog: Big Five, DISC, EQ, IQ-style cognitive ability, integrity, conflict styles, leadership style, work style, values, communication style, and 12 more. Clinical screeners (depression, anxiety, ADHD, autism) and esoteric tests (natal chart, moon phase, spirit animal) are excluded from the B2B catalog because they create EEOC and ADA exposure.

How does score delivery work?+

When a candidate completes an assessment, JobCannon PATCHes the callback_url provided by Greenhouse on send_test, including status=complete, partner_score (numeric, 0-100), partner_profile_url (link to the full result), and a metadata block containing the standardised result envelope (dimensions, archetype, narrative). If the PATCH fails, JobCannon retries with exponential backoff (10min → 30min → 2h → 6h, max 5 attempts) and alerts our team.

Can I run a sandbox test before going live?+

Yes. Sandbox credentials are provisioned automatically and are clearly tagged is_sandbox=true. Sessions created with sandbox credentials never count toward billing and are visible only in sandbox-mode admin views. The full lifecycle — send_test → email → candidate completes → score returned to Greenhouse — runs end-to-end without touching production data.

What about EEOC compliance and adverse impact?+

JobCannon ships an Integrity scale and Social Desirability scale for B2B use. Our hire-eligible catalog excludes clinical and esoteric tests by design. We provide adverse-impact reporting (4/5ths rule by demographic group) and validity documentation per assessment. The DPA template is shipped with the partner contract.

How is data stored and retained?+

Candidate PII and assessment data are stored on EU-resident Supabase (GDPR-aligned). Default retention is 90 days post-completion; org admins can configure 30/60/90/365-day retention via the JobCannon admin. Data is never used for model training. Right-to-be-forgotten requests are processed within 7 days.
