JobCannon's Ashby adapter is in-flight (Phase 1 expansion, 2026-05). Same multi-tenant architecture as our Greenhouse integration: 22 hire-eligible tests, sub-1s scoring, sandbox + production, EU-resident data.

In brief

Ashby customers will add JobCannon as an Assessment Partner from their Ashby admin once we land the partner directory listing. The adapter mirrors our Greenhouse integration architecturally — Basic Auth, list_tests / send_test / test_status / response_error endpoints — and uses the same 22-test hire-eligible catalog (Big Five, DISC, EQ, integrity, cognitive ability, etc.). Recruiters trigger an assessment from the candidate stage in Ashby; JobCannon emails the candidate, scores their submission in under a second, and returns the standardised result envelope to Ashby via webhook. Sandbox-first: every customer starts with sandbox credentials and graduates to production after a successful send → complete → score test cycle.

Each Ashby customer gets isolated org credentials. Same JobCannon backend serves Greenhouse, Ashby, Lever and Workable customers — your data never leaks across tenants.

Sub-1s scoring + auto-link

Candidates complete in their browser; scoring is sub-1s. JobCannon's DB trigger auto-links the result to the open Ashby session, so score-return is automatic and idempotent.

    Ashby's assessment partner programme is on direct outreach. JobCannon submitted a partnership request 2026-05; sandbox credentials provisioned to early access customers immediately.

    Add JobCannon credentials in Ashby

    Once approved, Ashby admin adds JobCannon as an Assessment Partner. Basic Auth credentials are provisioned per Ashby tenant (sandbox first).

    Recruiter assigns tests to stages

    In the Ashby pipeline, drop a JobCannon assessment onto the appropriate stage. Choose from 22 hire-eligible tests.

    Send → score → return

    Recruiter sends; candidate completes; JobCannon webhooks the result envelope back to Ashby. Sub-1s scoring; exponential-backoff retries on transient failures.

    Auto-rank in Ashby scorecard

    Ashby displays the JobCannon score on the candidate scorecard. Standardised envelope means the same scorecard renders for any of the 22 tests.

When will the Ashby integration be live?+

The Ashby adapter is built (Phase 1 expansion, 2026-05) and the partner request is submitted to Ashby. Early-access customers can be onboarded with sandbox credentials immediately while we wait for directory listing approval. Production rollout follows directory listing (typical timeline: 2-4 weeks).

How does this differ from your Greenhouse integration?+

Architecturally: identical contract (list_tests / send_test / test_status / response_error), Basic Auth, 22-test catalog, multi-tenant, sandbox + production. Operationally: Ashby uses POST callbacks where Greenhouse uses PATCH; envelope shape is the same.

Which 22 tests can I send from Ashby?+

The same hire-eligible catalog: Big Five, DISC, EQ, IQ-style cognitive ability, integrity, conflict styles, leadership style, work style, values assessment, communication style and 12 more. We exclude clinical screeners and esoteric tests from the B2B catalog by design.

Does JobCannon support Ashby's structured interview framework?+

JobCannon supplies the assessment layer; Ashby owns the structured-interview workflow. The score envelope returned by JobCannon includes both numeric (partner_score) and structured dimensions (envelope.dimensions[]) so Ashby's scorecard can map signals to your structured interview rubric.

What about EU customers?+

JobCannon hosts on EU Supabase; PII never leaves the EU. Default retention 90 days; org-level override via JobCannon admin. DPA available on request.

How do I onboard before the partner directory listing lands?+

Email [email protected] with your Ashby tenant ID. We'll provision sandbox credentials within 24h and schedule a 30-min onboarding call. Production credentials issue once the partner listing is live (or earlier if Ashby grants an early-access exception).
