California career standards crosswalk
California Career Technical Education Model Curriculum Standards, Grades Seven Through Twelve (California Department of Education) covers grades 7-12 in 11 groups and 49 criteria. 0 are evidenced directly by something the platform produces, 8 more are supported by a named result plus teacher-led classroom work, and we make no claim on the other 41. The two claimed groups are never added into one number.
California compels a middle-grades career plan by law. California Education Code §49600(e)(3) requires comprehensive school counselling to include, for middle-school pupils specifically, 'developing a list of coursework and experience necessary to assist each pupil in middle school to successfully transition to high school and meet all graduation requirements'. That is a counselling duty rather than a named plan document like Arizona's ECAP or Colorado's ICAP, and delivery depends on how a district staffs counselling — a real legal touchpoint on middle-grades planning, but a weaker one than a formal state plan mandate.
The standard itself: California Career Technical Education Model Curriculum Standards, Grades Seven Through Twelve, published by California Department of Education / California State Board of Education, grades 7-12. Eleven Foundation Standards numbered 1.0 to 11.0, each with decimal sub-points. Foundation Standards 1.0-9.0 and 11.0 repeat verbatim in every one of the fifteen industry-sector chapters. Standard 10.0 is the exception — it is genuinely sector-specific, and the four sub-points below are the Agriculture and Natural Resources sector's version, so a district teaching one of the other fourteen would cite different 10.x text entirely. Each sector also carries dozens of pathway-specific standards, not counted here because they are not what a district cites for a career-readiness claim.
Below is every one of its 49 criteria, what closes each, and what a student walks away with — 0 evidenced directly, 8 supported via lesson plan, 41 not claimed. Nothing on this page is claimed as evidenced directly: every claim California gets from us needs a teacher to close it.
Every criterion, what closes it, and what a student walks away with.

The two claimed counts stay separate on purpose — merging platform-evidenced and teacher-supported criteria into one number would flatter the platform at your expense.

Interests, aptitudes and skills are met by instruments a school can assign. Qualifications are not: an education level is published on 1,020 of 2,749 careers, and there is no training or licensure data at all. Connecting any of it to success in a career is the classroom half.

The first half only. A 2,749-career library organised by 23 occupational groups and 14 clusters covers the scope of opportunities. The second half is absent rather than thin — education level on 1,020 careers, and no training or licensure data anywhere in the product. This row must never be read as evidence of licensure coverage.

Logical Reasoning scored result (syllogisms, conditional logic, deductive inference, analytical puzzles)
The strongest evidence on this page: a scored ability test with right and wrong answers and four declared subscales, not a self-report. What it does not carry is the criterion's framing — the items are abstract logic problems, not work-related tasks. That transfer is the teacher's half.

Work Ethics & Reliability scored result (Dependability, Accountability facets)

scored Time Management result
A single self-reported band with no subscales. It stands here only because California's verb is 'understand' — something a class can read and discuss. The equivalent Texas criterion says 'demonstrate', and we do not claim that one. This row must never be presented as measuring time-management skill.

The best-evidenced claim on this page. All five Thomas-Kilmann approaches are named and described in the shipped result copy, and the narratives already carry situational-appropriateness language. Held at lesson rather than direct because the criterion asks a student to know the approaches, where the result reports which one they default to.

Two district contracts as published in board papers — one covering a single school year, one a five-year agreement — beside our per-student rate for one academic year
This is California's page in a set of state career-standards crosswalks built the same way — every criterion of a state's own document, matched one at a time, with what we do not claim listed as plainly as what we do. The most detailed of them is Arizona's grades 6-8 eCTE crosswalk, which carries a per-row evidence trail and four documented revision passes. The others: Texas, Utah, Illinois and Colorado.
A career-standards document is not the same thing as a plan-completion mandate — for whether California compels an individual student plan, and under which statute, see our career and education plan mandate directory. For the wider grades 6-8 deployment this crosswalk sits inside, see JobCannon for Middle Schools, or career assessments for school districts for a multi-school rollout. Both are part of the JobCannon for Business hub.
Scale is $199/mo and covers 200 people per billing period — the same unit as any school or district deployment. Where the crosswalk above is the evidentiary piece a procurement review needs, the Education Licence below prices your whole grade band per student for the year, assessments uncapped.

One rate per enrolled student for the academic year, sized for California district or school-level rollouts. Assessments uncapped, career and skills corpus included — multiply your own enrolment by the band and that is the price, before you talk to us.
$3.00 down to $2.00 per student, per year — assessments uncapped
Per head this is more than our monthly hiring plans, and deliberately so — it is a different licence, not a bigger size of the same one. Those plans meter individual candidates for hiring and coaching. This covers your enrolled roll for the academic year with assessments uncapped, retakes included, the career and skills corpus licensed with it and the cohort dashboard in the price. Which one is yours is decided by use, not by whichever number is smaller.
A large school, multi-school district or trust
A university, college or college group
A statewide or national programme
£350 per school, per year — a flat whole-school licence rather than a per-student rate, because that is the unit UK schools budget in. Same uncapped assessments and same corpus. Excludes VAT.
The ladder starts at 1,301 students. Below that there is no licence to quote: a roll that small is better served by a self-serve plan, and that is the one case where a plan covers a school’s own students — UK schools have the flat whole-school licence at any size. Bands are by enrolment, and the rate applies to your whole roll rather than to a seat count you have to predict. Invoiced annually against a purchase order; no per-assessment charge and nothing to top up mid-year. Assessing an institution's enrolled students is covered by the Education Licence, not by a hiring plan. What is in the corpus.

California compels a middle-grades career plan by law. California Career Technical Education Model Curriculum Standards, Grades Seven Through Twelve — Foundation Standards 1.0-11.0 (universal across all 15 industry sectors; Standard 10.0 shown as instantiated in the Agriculture and Natural Resources Industry Sector, the first of the 15 sectors), published by California Department of Education / California State Board of Education, grades 7-12. 7-12 by the cover title, and there is no distinct 6-8 band inside it. Grade 6 is absent entirely, and Foundation Standards 1.0 and 2.0 cite California's own grade 8-12, 9-12 and 11-12 content standards, so grade-7 anchoring is thin. Standards 3.0-9.0 and 11.0 carry no grade qualifier and are in practice taught inside high-school CTE pathway courses. Read this page as California's closest analogue to a middle-grades career standard, not as one. Publisher's landing page: https://www.cde.ca.gov/ci/ct/sf/ Eleven Foundation Standards numbered 1.0 to 11.0, each with decimal sub-points.
It means the platform produces the artefact the criterion asks for with nothing a teacher has to add. No California criterion is closed that way, and the count on this page is zero rather than absent. Every claim below is the weaker kind, and each row says so.
It means the platform supplies the data or the assessment result and a teacher runs the classroom half — it is weaker, and it is labelled separately for that reason. 8 criteria are closed this way: 3.1, 3.2, 5.1, 7.2, 7.5, 8.3, 9.1 and 9.4. A plan a system wrote for the student would not satisfy the standard, and claiming it would not be worth much either.
Because the 0 and the 8 are different kinds of evidence — one is work the software does on its own, the other is work a teacher does with something the software supplies — and merging them into one headline number would flatter the platform at your expense. Every row states which of the two it is, and the counts are shown as separate pills rather than added together.
We make no claim on them. No JobCannon surface — assessment, career-page field or glossary entry — addresses them, and they are listed exactly as plainly as the 8 we do claim: same row format, same visual weight, a stated "not claimed" rather than an absence.
California's own decimal codes. Foundation Standard 3.2 is citable back to the Model Curriculum Standards exactly as printed here.
The cover reads 'Adopted by the California State Board of Education May, 2005', with a 2006 CDE copyright. CDE's standards-update page describes a revision in progress on a phased timeline — Phase 1 proposed for board approval in November 2025, full replacement targeted for November 2027 — so the 2005 document is still the standard in force. A widely repeated search summary gives an adoption date of 16 January 2013; that could not be confirmed against any primary CDE source and contradicts both the cover and the update page, so it is flagged here rather than quietly resolved. The document itself is linked at the top of the table, so you can check any row against the source rather than take our word for it.
